About our Pastor:

Dr. David Herndon came to Immanuel in 2003.  Pastor Herndon founded Discernment Ministries ( http://discernmentministries.webs.com) in 1995 to provide critical thinking development among evangelical churches.  Previously pastoring in Ohio, Florida and Montana, Pastor Herndon brings his passion for evangelism and missions to the Hi-Line of Montana.  Pastor Herndon holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Patriot University with an emphasis in evangelism and missions. He is the author of  Is Jesus Enough?  , The Quest: Changing a Churches Culture from Missions-minded to Missions-active and was a contributing author of the book The Midnight Ride to Awaken the Church and leads annual disicpleship training trips to SE Asia in conjunction with the IMB and Lifeway. A strong supporter of the persecuted church, Pastor Herndon has led IBC to partner with the underground church throughout SE Asia and urges all Christians to pray for their brothers and sisters overseas.

Doran Loftus - AWANA Commander

Doran serves as our AWANA Commander. Now in our 3rd year, Immanuel's AWANA program continues to grow and attract children from grades K-12 on Sunday nights. The children learn Bible passages, have games and build friendships with other children in the community.

Mission Pastor

Dr. Carl McElreath serves as the pastor of 1st Indian Baptist Church of Rocky Boy. On staff as an associate pastor, Dr. McElreath and his wife Rose serve the Chippawa Cree tribe on the Rocky Boy reservation south of Havre.
